Mission Statement

The Association's mission is to effectively promote sound practices of healthcare human resources through the development of high values, integrity and ethics in the workplace. The Association will assist the continuing development of human resources professionals necessary for the attainment of healthcare organizational goals resulting in the delivery of outstanding patient care.

The Association is organized exclusively for educational purposes as a not-for-profit association. The Association is an affiliated chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration of the American Hospital Association (ASHHRA).

Objectives will be to continue:

  1. To encourage the highest standards in healthcare human resources administration;
  2. To promote close cooperation among those individuals responsible for the administration of human resources functions and related duties in regional healthcare organizations;
  3. To encourage membership in, an affiliation with, such organizations as the Connecticut Hospital Association (CHA), the American Society for Hospital Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA), and other professional human resources organizations.
