Robert Gronbach originally started the Connecticut Hospital Personnel Association in the 1960's. The name changed in November 1988 to the Connecticut Hospital Human Resources Association, and was later changed to its present name - Connecticut Healthcare Human Resources Association (CHHRA). It is a chapter of the American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration of the American Hospital Association (ASHHRA).
Our goal as an ASHHRA chapter is to also encourage CHHRA members to be ASHHRA members, for it affords them the opportunity to interact on a national level. Please explore what ASHHRA has to offer you in your pursuit of HR excellence from its annual national conference, HR Leader Model, and its many HR resources.
